Qualifications :

Graduate (Agri/Science/) and MBA (MANAGE/NIAM etc. preferable ) from good business school with around 10 years of experience in similar business or Agriculture sector with focus on value creation. Exception can be made for right and relevant candidate from related industry even if qualification is not as mentioned here, so please go ahead and apply


Age: Around 35 - 40 years

Travel: Moderate (Role involves travelling since this would be Pan India role)

Job Responsibilities:

1. He will be responsible for Sales, Marketing and Business Development functions.

2. He will lead the team to develop the three-year road map along with top and bottom line and ensure achievement of the planned objective to attain profits in sustainable manner. He will work with the accounting and finance team to keep track of the existing financial health of the company and device strategies for enhanced growth and maximum efficiency.

3. He will be responsible for developing marketing strategies aligning to business strategies. He will understand the market needs and formulate strategies and action plan for business development, sales and marketing. He will play key role in sourcing, procurement, logistics and vendor management.

4. He would be responsible for workforce management and maintain cordial relationship with workforce staff, facilitating training and education of employees; install a sense of ownership and mutual growth among the employees.

5. Preference would be given to candidate with proven record of accomplishment in Agriculture sector with focus on contract farming (forward and backward) in medicinal plants and allied sectors.
