Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Sales & Marketing to lead our Herbal and Ayurvedic Medicines division. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 20 years of extensive experience in Sales & Marketing within the pharmaceutical industry, with a significant focus on Herbal and Ayurvedic products.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve business objectives, sales targets, and revenue growth for Herbal and Ayurvedic Medicines.

2. Lead and manage the sales and marketing team, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure optimal performance and alignment with company goals.

3. Identify and capitalize on market trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within the Herbal and Ayurvedic segment to maintain a competitive edge.

4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including distributors, retailers, healthcare professionals, and regulatory authorities.

5. Oversee the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and product launches to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.

6. Monitor sales performance, market penetration, and customer feedback, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Manufacturing to ensure product development, compliance, and supply chain efficiency.

8. Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices related to Herbal and Ayurvedic Medicines, incorporating relevant insights into business strategies.

9. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and networking opportunities.

Qualifications:

1. MBA preferably with a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, or related field.

2. Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in Sales & Marketing within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on Herbal and Ayurvedic products.

3. Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion.

4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.

5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

6. In-depth knowledge of the regulatory landscape, market dynamics, and consumer trends in the Herbal and Ayurvedic segment.

7. Results-oriented mind-set with a strategic approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

9. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
