Position- Head Sales & Marketing (From Fragrances & Flavors industry only)  Reporting to-Director  Location-Bangalore/Delhi NCR  Qualification: MBA Sales, Marketing or Business Administration   Experience: 10 yrs. +  Key Responsibilities for Sales :  - Develop new business opportunities for the India Market  - Help develop and implement strategic sales plans.  - Pitch products and services.  - Develop competitive pricing strategies.  - Report weekly sales forecasts  - Stay current with client needs, competition, and industry trends  - Deliver sales presentations/proposals to prospective clients with a successful closing rate  - Develop and manage client & agency relationships  - Responsible for assisting with sales/marketing and advertising campaigns  - Maintain active participation and membership in networking organizations  - Anticipate revenues.  - Develop relationships with vendors.  - Demonstrate company products and solutions  - Satisfy technical needs during sales cycle.  - Articulate competitive positioning.  - Record customer interactions in lead tracking and customer issue tracking systems.  - Follow up with leads aggressively.  - Solicit feedback on products and services  Key responsibilities for Marketing :  - Research and analyses market trends, competitor offerings, demographics, and other information that affects marketing strategies  - Uses research findings and analysis to provide direction to regarding upcoming marketing projects, new products or services, and overall strategy  - Identifies areas for improvement in product offerings, sales tactics, marketing strategy, and promotional activities.  - Approves all marketing campaigns and plans before they are implemented  - Weighs in on important decisions involving product advertising, packaging, media channels, and branding  - Maintains the department's budget and ensures all marketing activities are cost-effective  - Monitors marketing and sales performance and adjusts strategies as needed.  - Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote success of activities and enhance the company's presence.  - Making sure the company is Search Engine Optimized to maximize inbound sales opportunities.  Background :   - All round sales and marketing experience gained from a similar sized organization.  - Excellent leadership skills  - Relevant industry experience ideally from a competitor.  - Highly motivated with a genuine drive to succeed.
