This position is with an Indian consumer goods conglomerate managing operations globally with full fledged operations in Nepal also.

This position would formulate strategy and lead national Sales & execution of commercial strategy for trade and corporate segments including capturing new market potential to achieve company revenue.

Job Responsibilities:

Network management : 

- Direct, large and key dealer management. Supervising servicing and delivery across dealers and planning for the same on the base of volume and value targets. Analyzing feedback on different schemes and programs, and on employee service levels and interaction

- Distributor management across region. Monitoring different schemes and development programs for all distributors, ensuring the sustenance of the existing network, expanding and creating new points of contact.

- Monitoring, improving and developing different dealer and distributor interfaces. Ensuring maximum resource optimization and spread and reach of different interfaces

- Developing programs to improve service levels by dealers / channels

Sales Collections and Value and Volume growth : 

- Integrate brand, trade, customer service, technology etc. into corporate planning to achieve the revenue and P&L target

- To develop a superior sales strategy & ensure robust executions by the team to achieve the revenue target

- Responsible for effective co-ordination with cross functional teams and with other stakeholders to ensure robust support system to drive business revenue growth.

- Develop plan for new product introduction, focus products and strategy for increasing volume and value sales

Market activation and development : 

- Understanding and managing trends of usage, application and associated properties of paints products across segments

- End to end control of all in-shop activation processes and activities including brand presence in different shops, schemes and programs to increase shelf space across centers, and initiating programs to attract and incentive end consumers

- Drive new technologies and innovations in the market including CRM and DTS

- Develop plan for strengthening Customer Centricity initiatives in the market and implement steps to ensure the application of the same

Marketing and Brand Management : 

- Managing the marketing activities such as new product initiatives, product benchmarking, above the line and below the line activities

- Identify unique selling points across products and develop a strategy to increase growth in categories

Sales Team Leadership : 

- Lead sales team and increase engagement with devising a succession plan to ensure people career progression

- Develop team members by identifying training requirements and capability enhancing programs involving product and dealer management, product training etc.
