Job Role: Head of Sales/ Business Unit Head

Job Function: Sales

Location: Bangalore

About The Role: As the Head of Sales you will work closely with the leadership team to drive the growth of the business.

The broad objectives for you are as follows:

- Work with the leadership team to identify new opportunities, drive demand and revenue for the organization.

- Drive the Sales Organization, leading large sales deals and personally ensure their closure.

- Manage a multi-disciplinary team across geographies.

- Articulate the sales goals to the team and drive the same to ensure that the business goals and objectives are met.

- Work collaboratively across teams including engineering, product, and marketing.

- Provide full visibility of the sales pipeline at every stage of development.

- Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers, both externally and internally.

- Drive the Delivery Organization to focus on efficiency and quality resulting in on-time delivery and customer delight.

- Build a cohesive business unit that takes complete ownership and responsibility for sales, delivery and cash realization.

Knowledge:

- You will be a great fit for the role if display the following traits:

- Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices and an ability to coach others on them.

- Come with strong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive action.

- Have driven order book businesses, long term projects, and long sales cycles

- Managed large and multidisciplinary sales teams

- Are abreast of future trends, understand the market and economic trends and act accordingly.

- Are adept at building great cross-functional teams

- Exhibit general management abilities and interests

Abilities:

- Strategic

- Commercial and financial acumen

- Collaborative mindset

Experience Required: 12 plus years of work experience

Education Qualification: BE/B. Tech + MBA from tier 1 college preferred
