This strategy will need to take into account the competitive landscape as well. The position will also have the responsibility for overall revenues and growth of the sales through implementing sales strategies, creating alliances and business development. The Head of Sales would identify market opportunities and challenge partnering functions (finance/pricing, product development, operations etc.) to generate offerings and solutions that will differentiate us from our competitors and ensure expansion of the client and the revenue base of the organization. To achieve the desired objective, he/she will need to ensure that the right sales plans and resources are put in place  - Build new client relationships and manage key accounts:   The Head of Sales will be entrusted with the important task of nurturing and growing client base. The incumbent should have a mix of hunter/farmer skills as s/he will need to lead the team to hunt and build new clientele while at the same time build a strong account management functions to retain existing clients. At an overall sales force level, the candidate will develop and embed best-in-class key account management processes and capability across the country and will continuously benchmark our policies and processes against the industry standards.  - Accountable for Indirect sales organization:   Building indirect sales team I, appointing channel partners and alliances with Fintech companies, to drive the indirect sale revenue . Enabling the entire partner organization to cover the market effectively across India and MEA  - Provide leadership to the sales team and rebuild the sales force:   Hired candidate will be a great people leader. He/She will be able to identify top potential sales talent and effectively attract, coach, mentor and motivate them to drive superior performance. He/she will also need to ensure that effective processes and controls are in place such that the skill/competence level of the team is regularly updated to meet the growing challenges of size and scale. The hired candidate will drive the implementation of advance sales processes and systems that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales force. The incumbent will also be responsible for the competency model for the sales force and will also work with HR and finance teams to design optimal sales incentive systems that positively motivate the sales teams to achieve revenue goals.  Candidate profile:  - The ideal candidate should have 15+ years of experience with a reputation and track record of success as an exemplary sales leader in a transactional business of significant scale.  - Bachelor's degree with an MBA/ PG from a Premier Institute  - Experience in leading the B2B direct sales and an indirect sales organization, people management is essential. Candidates with a successful track record selling into financial institutions strongly encouraged.  - Candidates with a deep understanding of credit products, credit solutions, or data analytics will be preferred.  - He/she will be involved in the development of the sales value proposition and strategy.  - The individual must have knowledge of sales management including customer relationship management, portfolio management, key account planning, handling complaints, client profitability and credit management.  - The ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial mind-set and be comfortable in taking acceptable risks.
