Responsibilities:
As a Sales Head/ Senior Sales Manager - you are responsible to implement all sales activities and maximize business opportunities in your specific area of responsibility. The role involves implementing and executing all sales action plans in coordination with function heads and will include key responsibilities such as:
- Acquiring and retaining customers of the travel trade segment through various sales activities like face-to-face sales calls, telephone calls, entertainment, etc.
- Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed set targets
- Establish parameters, quotes and negotiate travel trade contracts with operators or agents for transient and group business in connection with respective properties
- Promote and produce sales leads within its respective areas
- Arrange site inspection of hotels, temples, and host familiarization trips for tour operator
- Establish and maintain files of major accounts and assist in maintaining the accounts management system
- Maintain close communication with the events management team in the negotiation process of their accounts
Educational Qualifications & Experiences
You should be holding a degree in sales & and minimum two years post graduate work experiences, ideally within the Tourism industry. You must be a computer literate with excellent presentation skills and highly sophisticated communication skills, written and oral with proficiency in English is essential and any other language skills beside will be an asset.

The ideal candidate will have a guest and service-oriented attitude, backed up by a proactive approach and a strong drive for results. In your daily business you show flexibility, display a high level of integrity and professionalism to both colleagues and clients. You are having a track record in exceeding targets with the ability to identify, implement and execute sales strategies and account plans while possessing following additional competencies:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Travel, Business, Sales or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
- Proven experience in sales and marketing leadership roles within the tourism industry
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer behaviour, and industry trends
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and utilization of CRM tools
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset
