Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Revenue and Margin ownership of Sales from India market; Revenue goals of 1MM plus, and growth of 30% year on year.

2. Design, Develop, and execute on the Strategy, Market Segments, Accounts List, Offerings,Pricing/Margins for India business

3. Account Management for current accounts and opening new accounts in the education business segment within India

Managing :

- Inside Sales

- Marketing Campaigns

- Joint Ownership of business with Delivery leader

- Partner with Products division to create a platform based partnership business in India Education Markets.

- People / Team management of Solutions and Delivery Staff

- Depending on initial success in India Markets, Added responsibility of other geographies after 6-12 months. Extend the reach into other regions - like Europe, Middle-East, Australia, through India based accounts

Skills Required/Desired :

1. Rolodex of Publishing, education companies where Products and offerings can be sold

2. Previous experience of managing a Business Unit, Sales Organization. Track record of achieving goals, targets.

3. Presentation skills - Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Solution and Domain understanding of Education, Publishing business.

5. Understanding of the pricing, and competition in education content, digital products

6. Track record to build partnerships with digital content and technology co.s

7. Inside Sales Expertise - understanding of cold calling, familiarity with tools

8. Technology understanding - digital content, technology for content and learning products

9. Social Media marketing and Expertise. Should have been active in social media with authoring of blogs etc.

10. Commercial acumen, contract negotiations, multi-year contracts.
