Head - Sales, Distribution & Collection (Microfinance/NBFC)

Leadership Role in a fast growing Microfinance company


- Seeking a proactive and seasoned Head of Sales & Distribution and Collections to oversee the sales, distribution, and collections operations for retail loan products, focusing on Mortgage and Micro Loans against Properties in the affordable segment within the Delhi NCR region.

- The position will be responsible for managing a team of Vice Presidents of Sales & Distribution and Collections to ensure achievement of business objectives while maintaining the quality of the loan portfolio and optimizing collections.

Role & Responsibilities:

Business Development:

- Manage a team of Vice Presidents of Sales & Distribution to drive opportunities AUM growth for the company in its expansion phase

- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and customers to drive business growth and expansion while optimizing collections.

Leadership & Team Management:

- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the team to drive business growth, achieve targets, and optimize collections.

- Develop and implement innovative strategies to penetrate the affordable segment market effectively and enhance collections efficiency.

- Foster a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and development within the sales, distribution, and collections teams.

Portfolio Management:

- Oversee the P&L responsibility for the sales, distribution, and collections channels, ensuring profitability and portfolio quality meet or exceed targets.

- Work closely with operations and credit teams to optimize processes, mitigate risks associated with loan portfolios, and enhance collections efficiency.

Market Analysis:

- Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the mortgage industry in the Delhi NCR region.

- Utilize market insights to identify new opportunities, tailor product offerings, and implement strategies to optimize collections.

Training and Development:

- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the capabilities of the sales, distribution, and collections teams.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and skill development to drive performance excellence in sales, distribution, and collections functions.

Ideal Candidate:

- Post Graduate/Graduate in any discipline.

- Minimum 20 years of prior experience in mortgage sales and collections in NBFC/HFC in Delhi NCR, with specific expertise in the informal sector and the affordable segment.

- Proven track record of managerial experience in leading diverse teams.

- Ability to build and lead a team of 100 Sales & Collections professionals across levels

- Expertise in the Mortgage and Micro Loans against Properties market in Delhi NCR, particularly in the affordable segment .

- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple teams

- Strong strategic planning, organizational, and time management skills.

- Deep understanding of Loan against Property Informal/Affordable Sector products, market dynamics, and collections strategies
