POSITION PURPOSE: - The jobholder will be the complete custodian of pushing the brands through our dual strategy of HCP promotion and direct Trade distribution. - He/she will be responsible for leading an HCP promotion team and a trade distribution team (indirect through a 3rd party) for building influence with doctors, generating sales, maintaining customer relationships, expanding customer database and market share. - To work in line with the sales targets and objectives, provide information of the prevailing market conditions and provide sales reports as required by the management. The jobholder combines sales skills with technical knowledge. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Being responsible for annual sales targets for the assigned geography and accounts with responsibility for P&amp;L. - Directly Leading a team of professionals, to showcase our products to the HCPs. - Indirectly leading a trade distribution team which will be on another distribution company's rolls. - Identifying opportunities in the existing trade distribution network in leading pharmacies, chemists &amp; pharma chains. - Identifying opportunities in the existing HCP promotion network to build strong influence for our brands - Developing and executing strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. - Maintaining hygiene of distribution management &amp; sales operations. - Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships and strengthening the brand at the POS. WHO YOU ARE: - 15+ years of leading sales teams in a Pharma, Consumer Health, FMCG company - A Master's degree in Sales/ Marketing with comprehensive knowledge of sales principles, models and practices - Proven ability of product launches at National level. - Expertise to driving sales through influencers/ HCPs etc - Strong analytical and quantitative skills - Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams - Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. - Strong leadership and team building skills
