Sales & Marketing Head for a US MNC to be based in their HQ in Delhi/ NCR. Seasoned e-commerce business heads who have handled huge volumes with exposure to international business also preferred. 

Role Description:

The Head- Sales & Business Development will be responsible for the leadership and strategic management of the SBU. Will carry P and L responsibility. This position will require a strong Management background, an experience of driving forward strategic initiatives for a software development company and a demonstrated ability to effectively partner with business leaders on a global level.

- Heading the profit center and being accountable for the growth of the business.

- Innovate and Improvise on processes with hard targets for process improvements.

- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced agile environment.

- Manage and deliver to Service Level Agreements.

- Working closely with the executive team to coordinate on sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.

- Analytics and Business Insights, proactively identifying critical issues impacting sales and strategy from metrics including lead-to-sales analysis and segment/account trends.

- Conceptualizing and implementing business plans in tandem with the vision of the business unit and the organization

- Evaluation and prioritization of business processes.

- Oversee knowledge transfer

- Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate risks associated with ongoing operations and new / planned releases & provides leadership and support to programs and campaigns, which results in more efficient program processes.

- Assist with preventative maintenance and help to drive service improvements through feedback/recommendations to Development, Quality Assurance and Product Management groups.

- Develop and oversee Platform Operations, Release Management, Incident Management, Problem Management,

- Evaluate process changes feasibility and work closely with respective managers.

- Managing lead lists, ensuring that all fields are updated and accurate, and seeking and destroying any duplicate leads.

- Building and standardizing a process of evaluating and analyzing data to determine which inquiries to prioritize to increase revenue.

- Monitoring the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization and involved with the IT department for the purpose of optimizing CRM systems, marketing technologies, meta-data management, website and online page improvements, direct mail production, etc.

- Collaboration with Sales Team & with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.

- Monitoring the sales teams compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data.

- Evaluate multiple CRM software to understand which one is the most robust, cost-effective and offers the most value and drive the transition from the current in-house CRM software, Pricing and Contracting Support.

- Enable the sales team with high-quality proposals that can be turned around quickly and efficiently.
