Job Title Head of sales- West
Top 3 Deliverables for the role:
- Forecast, strategise and Deliver AOP Sales distribution plan for sales acquisition.
- Collect revenue from customers.
- Lead, hire and manage West/East sales reps to create a motivated, focused and high performing sales team also work with cross functional teams to reduce any friction in the sales to go live path.
What you would do:
- Own deal closures and forecasts.
- Accurately forecast monthly numbers for team closures.
- Lead sales team and efforts to close deals as per commit.
- Establishing a strong rapport with prospects and helping them understand industry-best practices.
- Be mentor to the team, lead from the front, be a coach+player.
- Implementing best-practices in sales outreach.
- Run daily sales Cadence on activities, pipe, forecast, deliverables and actionables.
- Work with cross functional teams like BDR, Marketing, operations and finance to deliver business outcomes.
- Be a leader and not a manager - lead with positive yet firm and go getter attitude.
- Speak out and communicate with leadership.
What you must have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Should have experience of leading a team in Travel or SAAS Industry.
- Should have reference from customers and companies on sales and leadership skills.
- Strong process-orientation, sales acumen. Must have knowledge of sales methodologies.
- Willing and able to roll-up the sleeves to get things done, highly proactive and able to come up with new ideas and initiatives from time to time
