Head - Risk - Colending & Partnerships

Responsibilities :

- Together with Business, you will contribute in informing, building and executing the long term strategic objectives for Co-lending partnerships vertical.

- You will be accountable to manage the overall risk of Co-lending partnership portfolio and will be responsible for giving comfort and seeking approvals and renewals of partnership proposals to various committees such Credit committee, Product approval committee etc.

- You will form, manage and execute the policies around risk management for all Co- lending partnerships across products.

- You will represent and negotiate our risk management approach with our lending partners. You will drive the risk-related partnerships discussions to ensure that we have mutual alignment on risk policy and protections.

- In conjunction with business team, you will conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure we onboard the right partners that meet our strategic goals and objectives.

- Working with Business team, you will unlock business opportunities by innovating on risk- mitigated solutions to expand our product and user base

- You will help develop the processes necessary to allow the organization to operate effectively, which will include partnering with analysts, finance, operations, product and tech across a gamut of risk and analytical requirements (Credit Policy, Fraud, Compliance, etc.) and oversee the end to end health and returns of partnerships business.

Job Highlights :

As the Risk Head of Co-lending Partnerships, you will lead a team responsible for working with our Business team to mutually unlock new Co-lending business opportunities and user verticals, innovate shared risk methodologies, and establish / ensure compliance to our agreed risk appetites. You will own all the risk initiatives across the partnerships vertical and will help make improvements in the breadth and depth of Company's risk management capabilities. You will build strategic relationships with the executive level of our partners and represent Company as a thought leader in the industry.

Minimum Requirements :

- The ability to represent Company at the executive level with a wide range of external partners and financial institutions

- Deep risk management (Credit, Model Fraud, Compliance etc.) experience across multiple products.

- A demonstrated ability at balancing prudent risk management with commercial outcomes

- Deep understanding of Unit economics for lending products and ability to apply first principle lending frameworks to new products.

- Strong stakeholder management including navigating difficult situations, negotiating timelines, and influencing internal and external stakeholders across organizations.

- Experience managing a high growth business in a high-growth company, and the ability to recruit, manage, and mentor high performing individuals

- The drive to flourish with minimal guidance; proactive and thrive in uncertain and ambiguous environments
