Head Revenue Planning
Position Summary :
The position is responsible for ensuring compliance to pricing guidelines, process and structures in the Hub. It serves as the coordination point for budgeting in the CMO area in the Hub position also monitors the internal KPI's and markets actively identifying issues in advance and suggesting necessary corrections.
Job Description :
- Pricing structure / guidelines compliance
- Marketing budget on target and under control
- Marketing annual business planning process on time
- Marketing business cases completed on time and approved
- Development of Budgets and Revenue plan. Developing contingency plans in case any revenue / items are not on track
- Adherence to pricing structure and guidelines

- Approval of departmental business cases/ offering plans
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensuring compliance to the pricing guidelines
- Key driver of the Marketing financial budget, annual business plan and revenue targets.
- Work with other verticals to help develop departmental business cases and their approval
- Analysis/follow-up of P&L profitability (revenue, cost, CAPEX, traffic etc.) to identify - red flags- in terms of profitability, cost overruns and potential cost/investment saving opportunities in CMO area initiatives
- Assist in structuring cost saving / revenue enhancing initiatives on an ongoing and adhoc basis
- Responsible for the departments interaction with other departments with regards to budget requirements to support the market plan
Level of Education : MBA - Marketing, preferably with a Statistics / Maths / Engg background
Experience : 5-8 years of experience in Marketing with focus on pricing / revenue planning. At least 2-3 years of this should be with a Telecom operator in Pricing / Revenue management areas.
Competencies :
- Thorough understanding of Business and cost structures
- Very comfortable with excel-sheets, financial analysis, building business cases
