Title: Head of Retention Marketing, Overview: Customer retention manager is responsible for all customer retention activities. Takes initiatives in customer satisfaction via process improvement plans and efficient reporting and flow of information. Is expected to maintain industry relationships, develop budgets and control costs. Will be responsible for leading a team of retention members and must report to the senior leadership team on plans, performance and outcomes. Must ensure project/department milestones and goals are met and adhere to the approved budgets. Responsibilities &amp; Duties : - Spearhead strategy to design and execute customer centric programs that strengthen relationships with high value customers including loyalty programs, email/SMS marketing and social media - Establish and optimize loyalty programs to drive cross-product adoption, and improve retention rates and life-time value - Own all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, tracking and reporting on key performance metrics for the loyalty, retention and related functions - Lead and manage internal team members, consultants and agencies as necessary - our web agency + help set the ecommerce / CRO strategy to further improve all key site + ecommerce metrics (Conversion Rate, Site speed, AOV etc.) - Guide and collaborate on brand strategy, messaging, and other group initiatives - Set strategy of email and SMS to retain customers and drive higher AOVs/LTVs; Guide team members in execution - Lead social media strategy to manage and maintain positive customer satisfaction, online reputation and reviews. Own the brief and ultimately the email creation and deployment process from asset collection, email copywriting, QA and execution - Present and execute on strategies to reactivate dormant customers, increase and maintain customer engagement and positive interactions with the brands - Assist Email Marketing Managers as needed on any of the following items: strategy development and execution, content calendar management, reporting and analytics, optimizing email campaigns, triggered flows, segmentation, and A/B testing - Use Klaviyo (experience with other major ESPs is relevant to this role), and Facebook and other social media platforms management tools - Stay on top of industry trends and best practices; proactively get ahead of them - Be an integral part in the business growth and proactively provide suggestions to help the team achieve and exceed our goals - Be a senior, - 24 x 7- member of the marketing and growth team Skills &amp; Experiences : - 12+ years of successful ecommece and digital marketing experience - 6+ years of experience in retention/email marketing experience; Expert-level familiarity with broadcast and flow campaigns (Klavyio preferred) - Successful track record of developing and managing B2B and B2C loyalty programs that drive measurable customer loyalty/retention, referrals and LTV - Knowledge and experience designing and executing social media campaigns that drive marketing and branding goals of the business - Experience creating multi-channel strategies that increase cross product adoption - Extensive project management &amp; organization skills including: conceptualization, brainstorming, driving cross-team alignment, managing deadlines and objectives, delivering analyses, managing learnings library and recommendations/next steps - Customer-focused and passionate about engaging customers while identifying the best channels for that cohort - Strong data analysis skills; Exceptional Excel or Google Sheets skills; First instinct to solving a problem is to start with data and ask a lot of questions - Advanced skills in team management, office productivity tools, critical thinking, verbal and written communications, and multi-tasking and time management
