Head Retail Assets
This role is a part of the Senior Management of the Co-operative Bank and would be responsible for the P&L of the Retail Banking segment and would include the following
- Responsible for planning of expansion of branch network pan India and ensuring compliance, growth of all products in the branches
- Planning of marketing activities for the Retail and Branch Banking through various methods of marketing including digital and execution of the same
- Creation of products and roll out of schemes for the branches
- Appointing and motivating a team of personnel who would be carrying out the activities at the branch level
- Overseeing all business parameters on the retail branch banking front which includes achievement of budgets for Retail Liabilities Products, Asset Products, Third Party Product, Retail Trade and Forex.
- Driving Performance at resources level which include achievement of Revenue Plans from the Managed Portfolio resources such as Relationship Managers, Assistant Branch Managers, and Personal Bankers etc.
- Effectively driven projects in order to achieve optimum customer due-diligence
- Extensive implementation of KYC/ AML guidelines and norms, thorough due-diligence of all new accounts being opened
- Timely reporting of transactions in order to identify potential risks and unusual trends using transnational information.
- Setting targets for the number of transactions, including those of High Value Transactions, High Volume Transacting accounts, Suspicious Transactions Reporting to the designated authorities
- Effective implementation of all Retail Branch Banking Operations through a systematic process flow and regular/ periodic review of the same
- Working closely with Quality Initiatives related groups for betterment of Service Quality Processes
- Monitoring of all CRM processes related to Customer Engagement.
- Liaison with Complaints Management Teams and various support functions for effective customer complaints handling & customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring monthly visit reports of all branches covering all aspects of Operations, Service quality, Business etc.
- Effectively monitor Teller Cash & Vault Functions, Funds Transfer Operations, Deliverable management systems, Locker Operations, ATM Operations, Branch Journal Reports, Security management reports scrutiny, Gold Bar/ Gold Loans Operations, High Transacting Accounts.
- Accountable for achieving Profitability & break-even of all branches through effective management of Cost-to-income Ratios of all branches covering all areas such as Net Interest income, Fees & Commission income, Cross sell income, Controllable & non-controllable cost items, overall and net contribution etc
