Head - Retail Analytics - IT

My Client a Pioneering player in I.T Services and Solutions is looking for a Head of Retail Analytics who will be responsible for building the Analytics Division with focus on setting up Retail from Scratch.

The Role:

- The Successful Candidate will have a BE or MBA with 15 years experience and exposure to Analytics within the Retail domain. The incumbent will have at least 8 years experience in building a team.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate must have:

- Understanding of Retail Analytics market size, trends and forecasts competitive landscape etc.

- Identification and definition of market opportunities, solution offerings ( Functional & Domain ) and go-to- market strategy

- Demonstrating rain making capability in getting customer wins

- Ownership of business plan including key metrics like revenues, GMs, utilization etc.

- Thought leadership & direction setting for the practice

- Building IP and Frameworks in identified areas

- Setting up excellence centers and proof-of-concepts

- Identifying, building and managing key alliances

Essential Skills:

The ideal candidate should have:

- Built Retail Analytics business

- Industry connects and relationships

- Conceptualized Retail Analytics solutions ( Process analytics and Domain analytics )

- Experience in IP creation and reuse

- Knowledge of advanced Data Analytics aspects such as Social, Predictive Analytics, Big Data etc.
