We are looking for a Head retail for a Chennai based retail organization
Functional Responsibilities
- Create a Business plan and sales targets for the EBO channel
- Responsible for achieving sales and collections targets for the EBO channel
- Responsible for expanding the EBO network pan India & strengthening the OPM of stores
- Set and meet Franchisee expectations & build strong relationships with franchisees
- Ensure inventory levels are managed at each store
- Ensure maintenance of hygiene factors at outlets through Visual Merchandisers
- Responsible for planning & managing discounts in coordination with the Buying & Planning team
- Responsible for planning and implementation of promotional activities - advertising campaigns, visual communications
- Ensure monthly MIS on the performance of the EBO channel
- Financial Responsibilities
- Ensure the targets are achieved within the parameters set for "Cost of Retail Budget"
- Ensure achievement of the sales and collection targets on a periodic basis (quarterly)
- Ensure that the necessary statutory formalities are adhered to (eg. C Forms) to avoid penalties/levies.
- Ensure all the Store agreements are vetted by Legal Team & in place
- Organizational Responsibilities
- Responsible for building robust sales processes/systems for the channel
- Drive building the brand of Indian Terrain through this channel
- People-related Responsibilities
- Build a strong, customer-focused sales team
- Facilitate training and development for the front-end sales team
- Ensure adequate quality sales force at outlets
- Ensure the performance of the sales team is assessed periodically and provide adequate feedback.
