Firm: Institutional Broking house (part of a large diversified financial services group)
Reporting to : CEO - Institutional Equities
Location: Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent management - managing the analysts and department staff
2. Coverage list approval - Deciding and delegating which companies should be covered and by which team
3. Business decisions - Selling research, how to support trading, sales, other business lines
4. Compliance - Along with a compliance department approve and oversee which companies need to deal with a blackout window, reg FD issue, conflicts
5. Quality control - Ensure research being produced is timely, thorough, thoughtful, and of a caliber to meet / exceed internal and external standards
