Head - Research & Development - Vehicle Integration - Tractors

Job Role : Head R&D is responsible for designing, developing and releasing new products as per market requirements. The role holder is responsible to deliver new products with zero defects and to bring in new technology to be the front runner in the product technology. Measurement and monitoring the effectiveness of project plan with respect to timelines commitment and resource planning is also critical to the role.

Educational Qualification / Experience required:

- B.E Mechanical with 15-20 Years of experience in design function

- Basic knowledge on IC engines, transmission and hydraulics related to tractor

- Field knowledge on tractor working in various applications and the basic requirements related to tractor torque and speed for various applications

- Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements related to products and its updation from time to time

- Design related concepts awareness and implementation experience (APQP / PPAP / DFMEA / DOE)

- To be the driving force for implementing new concepts and new technology implementation

- Ability to coordinate with various testing centres and certifying bodies for product approvals

Indicative Tasks:

1. Design and delivery of new products with zero defects

2. Responsible for resource allocation, costing and budgeting activities for R&D projects

4. Responsible for managing the R&D team
