Minimum : Masters degree in Chemistry / Biochemistry / Pharmacy Preferred : PhD in Chemistry / Biochemistry / Pharmacy Primary Responsibilities : Strategic and planning : - Plan out an action along with Regional Scientific Business Development Leads and in line with the overall Organization's sales and new product strategy to formulate a strategy to get an entry into target accounts in various regions. Functional : - Providing support for leading technical conversations with customer SCM heads / R&D heads around company products and options possible including new development in terms of new materials, new products and new applications for certain customers in consensus with the Regional SBD Leads - Work closely with Regional SBD Leads to provide technical insights and bring technical expertise to the conversations with the customers. - Develop relationships with customers- R&D team and proactively inform them about technical specifications of organization's new or enhanced products - Develop relationships with clients- R&D Formulations team by managing and interpreting their requirements. Offer solutions or options for their specific needs - Research and understand market opportunities, customer and competitor activities and inform the R&D team - Act as a listening post in the field and provide insights to the Scientific Business Development Leads of respective regions around customer / competitor activity - Liaise with the R&D team to keep abreast of new products and processes - Support SBD Leads with information around the customer's needs, the benefit from organization's products and services and new products which may suit the customer
