Head - Research & Development - Paints Sector

- Responsible for leading a team of Team Managers/Supervisors and highly skilled technical professionals by planning, organizing, and managing the overall activities to deliver desired business results.

- Lead effective program management that successfully delivers results on time. Plan and implement systems that perform the work and fulfill the mission and the goals of the department efficiently.

- Provide management oversight to deliver new technology solutions, improve attributes or quality of existing products, reduce cycle-time, and improve productivity.

- Lead technical teams to deliver on projects that support existing product lines and processes, and to develop new products and processes.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Color Science), advanced degree desirable

- 5-10 years- experience in complex, matrix environment

- 3-5 years- experience managing technical professionals

- Experience with decorative OR industrial paint or related sector

- Understanding of process improvement / optimization techniques
