Role & responsibilities :

1. To manage the day-to-day regulatory compliance of the RBI, PMLA, UIDAI, NPCI, CKYC, and others, which includes

(a) Disseminating guidelines to the appropriate stakeholders, updating the tracker, and following up and closing on compliance with guidelines.

(b) Timely distribution of various correspondences to stakeholders, as well as submission of responses to the regulator following quality and integrity checks

(c) Provide progress updates on compliance to the various executive and board-led committees.

(d) Managing compliance testing from start to finish, including planning, testing, creating testing results, and monitoring compliance with observations.

(e) Managing RBS for the bank from start to finish

2. Handling cross-functional issues such as

(a) Reviewing product proposals from a compliance standpoint

(b) Assessing vendor/business partner agreements in terms of compliance characteristics

(c) Handle the department's internal audit

(d) Timely report closure

(e) Coordination with departments regarding RBS audit, dissemination of observations, compliance with the observations, and timely response

3. Dashboard management

(a) Tracking of action taken reports from various Board, Board led, and Management committees

(b) Pending actionable in terms of compliance with guidelines

(c) Pending line timings for testing observations conformance

4. (a)Prepare presentations and notes for various Board, Board-led, and Management committees for the compliance department, as well as functions under the CCO.

(b) Verify that the draught and final minutes of the management committee meeting are consistent with the discussion during the meeting.
