One of our client has an opening for position of Recruitment Head for Mumbai location.

The group has the different business lines in India and Abroad.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualification: Graduate, MBA preferred.

Work Experience: Min 10 years in in house recruitment, Min 3 years in lead role

Desired profile:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Recruitment (in-house).

- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping

- Effective oral and written communication

- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality

- Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative in dealing with daily assumptions

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with Management on recruitment planning

- Work with Project Managers to understand the job requirement and create Job descriptions.

- Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.

- Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.

- Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.

- Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.

- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.

- Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.

- Post positions to appropriate Internet sources.

- Research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment.

- Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.

- Manage the use of recruiters and head-hunters.

- Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.

- Conduct phone screening of candidates

- Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Recruitment report.

- Interview candidates from a HR perspective to assess organizational fit.

- Perform reference and background checks for potential employees.

- Assist in negotiating offers and preparing offer letters etc
