Description - The role is to head the Quality and R&D functions of the biscuits business for a foods FMCG Headquarted in India

Client Details : The client is a leading Indian MNC with focus on multiple lines of foods business with an R&D setup and manufacturing locations in multiple domestic and global geographical locations.

Job Description :

- Leading a team for Generation of new product ideas and recipes and modifying and improving existing recipes in line with the organisation's ambitions

- Lead a team of Quality engineers, inspectors, auditors, analysts, and technicians

- Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organization's products

- Ensure that the organization's Quality Management System and Conformity to customer, internal, ISO 22000, and regulatory/legal requirements. v Ensure evaluation of, and reporting on, vendor quality systems

- Report to top management on the performance of the QMS (e.g., results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvement.

- Budget preparation for various projects undertaken for new development or continuous improvement

Profile :

- Food Technologist with a minimum of 15 years of experience in Foods FMCG

- Experience with Biscuits and Bakery products is mandatory

- Demonstrated experience in leading team sizes greater than 5

- Must be conversant with the end to the end life cycle of product development from concept to commercialisation

- Exposure and experience in Quality Assurance and FSSAI rules and guidelines
