Job Description : - It should be in electronics hardware testing - like for microcontrollers, microprocessors, jigs, power amplifiers. - Should be very familiar with the manufacturing process. - Should have spent minimum 5 years in hardware testing. - Preferable if they also have firmware experience. - Should have spent some years (at least 2, pref 5) in field failure testing, Root Cause Analysis Job purpose & responsibilities : - Understand and define the technical solution design, thereby ensuring high quality of delivery to meet the functional requirements. - Effectively participate in design discussions and guide the team members throughout the build process. - Own the RCA process, break fix design, manufacturing, testing, logistics issues & own till resolution. - Effectively estimate, plan and execute micro tasks within the product delivery timelines - Manage business process outsourcing activities & outsourcing partnerships. - Identify and execute cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities. - Develop benchmarks and scorecards to be used for continuous improvement. - Ensure first-class customer order experience - putting the customer first, giving them automated options & updates at every touchpoint, and make them promoters of our products and services. - Oversee all shipping/receiving functions including proper packing, preparing packing lists, contacting shipping companies, receiving deliveries, proper routing of packing slips, and accurate intake of material. - Collaborate with other departments and key personnel to evaluate inventory levels and forecast upcoming equipment needs. Establish and monitor key financial and operational metrics and recommends related opportunities for improvement. Qualifications : - B.E./B.Tech from a reputed university. Graduation in electrical/electronics engineering will be suitable along with equivalent experience. - Demonstrate in depth understanding of Business processes and Product Architecture - Good Electronics Hardware Testing experience Work Experience : - Should have 15 - 18 years relevant work experience, preferably in EMS companies. - Proficient in component engineering and ability to collaborate with hardware design (electrical and mechanical) team to select alternate parts. - Should have spent minimum 5 years in hardware testing. - Should have spent some years (at least 2, preferably 5) in field failure testing, Root Cause Analysis - Preferable have firmware experience. - Should be able to understand mechanical and electronics specifications. - Proven strong team leadership and development skills. - Analytical and process driven decision-making skills. - Highly organized individual, able to multi-task and manage demanding projects and deadlines. - An excellent communicator with a technical aptitude. - Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-departmentally to drive a project to completion within project budget and timeline. - Agility, risk management and strong communication skills are key for success in this role - Strong ability to collaborate across lines of business (Hardware, Software, Technical Support, Services), partners and customers to drive win-win situations for all. - Should be very familiar with the manufacturing process.
