Head - Quality Control - Retail

- Responsible to build a strong team of professionals and ability to lead them to ensure that all facets of quality such as Assurance, Control, Documentation, Vendor Audits, Customer Audits are handled with required rigour

- Identification & evaluation of vendors for prototype development

Prototype development, evaluation and sensory benchmarking with internal and external panels

- Responsible for documentation of all QA/PI documents in the Performance Improvement binder.

- Good knowledge on Deviation /investigation /Change control / food quality/Laboratory investigations, root cause analysis systematically.

- Expertise in developing and handling vendors.

- looking after Quality Assurance & Regulatory compliance of a retail chain

- Ensure quality implementation across value chain.

- Verify and measure quality standards through regular audits at Central Processing Centre and Retail Outlets

- Develop food vendors. Select vendor through pre-selection audit, monitor vendor performance and ensure product consistency through periodic audit.

- Develop standard packaging and label as per PFA and Standards of Weights and Measures rules.

- Involve in New Store Opening. Design route and time of delivery, conduct dry run to ensure fresh items reach the stores in time and quality parameters are maintained.

- Handling customer complaints. Conduct root cause analysis and take corrective actions & preventive measures to avoid re-occurrence.

- Handling private label business with key organized retail players.
