Exp required - 10 -16 Yrs
- Plans, directs and manages the activities of purchasing raw materials, investment goods, non production materials and services.
- Ensures that the Corporate Purchasing Strategies and Policies are applied locally. Defines and implements Cost Saving Potentials and other improvement projects. Ensures stable supply to the plants.
- Implements Corporate Purchasing Strategies, Policies and Supplier Relationship Management Guidelines.
- Leading the Purchasing team in plant concerning team objectives & target setting.
- Optimization and control of the result from team members. Active support on complex and difficult cases to ensure the success of the team as well as the employee.
- Work closely with the Corporate Purchasing HQ and ASIA to ensure the processes and procedures are adhered to and to ensure regional / global objectives and strategies are fulfilled.
- Contributes within the management team with Purchasing related information and action proposals.Defines and implements the purchasing strategy.
- To implement all the necessary procedure according to the policy practiced by Corporate Purchasing and ensure that these policy is adhered to at all times.
- Develop and maintain a lean and effective organization.Coach and develop team members and assure their qualification for the assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- Optimizes and maintains purchasing and payment procedures, systems and processes in plant to ensure transparency and efficiency.
- To manage inventory to optimum level in accordance to the set KPI to support the factory
- Responsible for management of incoming logistics for all inbound shipments.
- Taking purchasing decisions within authority limit, communicate them and supervise their implementation.
Responsible to sign the purchase orders within authority limit
- To assist in preparing the yearly budget proposal and verify these budget plan with PO for approval. Implement and conduct activities according to the budget established.
- Create corporate and plant reporting according to Continental standards.
- Develop and maintain a lean and effective organization.Coach and develop team members and assure their qualification for the assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- Optimizes and maintains purchasing and payment procedures, systems and processes in Modipuram to ensure transparency and efficiency.
COMPETENCIES :
- In total experience, should have 5 years working experiences in managerial and operative function. Preferable in International Companies and experience in Matrix Organisation
