Purchase Head

- Assess current and future material availability by analyzing market trends and delivery systems.

- Formulate and execute purchasing strategies in alignment with departmental budgetary constraints.

- Supervise, direct, and coordinate the activities of personnel involved in procurement and inventory management.

- Establish and enforce purchase and contract management policies and procedures.

- Collaborate with relevant departments to develop specifications for equipment, products, or alternative materials.

- Address vendor or contractor grievances and manage claims related to supplies.

- Maintain optimal inventory levels and facilitate the disposal of surplus materials.

- Monitor and report key functional metrics to enhance cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.

- Negotiate effectively with suppliers to reduce raw material costs.

- Identify and onboard new suppliers to drive cost savings and enhance quality.

- Implement or refine systems for monitoring supplier performance.

- Guide daily departmental operations and assist in audit preparation, including QMS and Buyer audits.

- Prepare comprehensive reports on market conditions and merchandise costs for management review.

- Offer necessary support and guidance for Production Planning and Control (PPC) activities.

- Supervise and oversee production planning and management processes within the organization.

- Develop production plans, budgets, and timelines based on specific requirements.

- Determine production needs considering plant capacity and production specifications.

- Ensure timely implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

- Manage budgetary allocations and oversee quality control measures.

- Coordinate outgoing logistics activities and general store operations to ensure smooth functioning.
