We are looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record to lead the PR function. In this role, you will be responsible for strategizing, managing and executing all media inquiries and cultivating relationships with key media. Job Responsibilities - Develop media relations strategy to achieve high impact coverage - Coordinate all public relations activities including product launches - Ensure high quality for all materials released on behalf of the organization - Proficient in developing annual communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and action items. - Providing strategic support on both day-to-day and long-term initiatives - Leverage all media channels to enhance brand positioning and awareness Job Requirements - Bachelor/Master degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or similar - Fluency in English, written and spoken - Ability to lead in a team and independently - A self-starter with excellent time management - A social person with great people skills - Must be passionate about the smartphone industry - Willingness to relocate to Bangalore - Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level - Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets - Good networking skills, SM presence and an entrepreneurial experience will be a plus
