We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PR Head to join a leading EdTech organization. This company is widely recognized as a frontrunner in the digital education space, catering to millions of learners globally. As the PR Head, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's image and promoting its mission of providing accessible and quality education to learners.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies to enhance the company's brand visibility, reputation, and thought leadership in the education industry.
- Craft compelling narratives and press releases that effectively communicate the company's initiatives, achievements, and impact, while ensuring messaging aligns with the organization's core values.
- Proactively engage with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers to secure high-quality media coverage and build strong relationships.
- Act as the company spokesperson, representing the organization in media interviews, press conferences, and public events, ensuring consistent and accurate messaging.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Content, and Leadership, to align PR efforts with overall marketing and business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends, providing timely insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Plan and execute strategic PR campaigns around key company announcements, product launches, partnerships, and events.
- Manage crisis communications and effectively handle sensitive issues or incidents, minimizing potential reputational risks.
- Lead and mentor a team of PR professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully leading PR initiatives for renowned organizations, preferably in the technology, education, or EdTech sectors.
- Extensive experience in developing and executing PR strategies, including media relations, crisis communications, and thought leadership campaigns.
- Strong media network and existing relationships with journalists and influencers in the education industry.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and impactful messages.
- Excellent storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for identifying newsworthy angles and opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach, consistently delivering high-quality work.
- Leadership qualities to inspire and guide a team of PR professionals towards achieving departmental goals.
