Job Description

The role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to initiate, manage and deliver a corporate communications strategy to develop the organisations' reputation, brand and relationships, ensuring organization have a clear identity and high levels of goodwill and understanding amongst the various stakeholder groups

Develops and implements strategic plans for the Corporate Communication department to facilitate the achievement of the Organizations vision

Supervises the research, development and implementation of a Communication strategy, standards and practices organisational-wide that elicit as well as promote the ethos of the organisation.

Analyses stakeholder research findings as part of developing a compelling vision for the Corporate Communications Department

Manages relations and builds relationships with key industry media.

Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure proper dissemination of the Communication and Public relation Services of the organisation.

Establishes a knowledge management system to facilitate continuity at each level of the Corporate Communications department

Proactively cultivates relationships with internal and external stakeholders of the Organisation that will promote the work and reputation of the Organisation

Desired Profile

Extensive public relations experience required.

Extensive knowledge of branding principles and tactics through multimedia including the Web.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills.

Excellent time management skills to ensure multiple tasks are completed within compressed timeframes.

Expert strategic and proactive leadership

Ability to understand technical and business concepts and express these concepts with clear, concise instructions

Ability to be flexible and open to changing priorities and challenges
