Iron and Steel Professional
We are looking for a competent professional with good knowledge about Iron and Steel industry with hands on experience in business development, Project marketing, Project Management, Contract management etc.
Requisite Candidate Profile:
1) Experience - 15-25 years
2) Core Competency - Business development, Sales & Marketing, Techno-Commercial project management.
3) Qualification - BE/BTECH - Mechanical, Metallurgy, Chemical etc. (Post graduation is an add on advantage)
4) Area of Expertise - Blast Furnace and its associated units (PCI,WHRS,De-dusting), Hot metal Pretreatment(HMDS,De-P,De-Si), Primary steel making (BOF,EAF,CONARC,AOD,IF), secondary steel making (VD,LF,VOD,RH), Fume extraction units, Dedusting units, Casting and Rolling mills.
Scope of responsibilities:
- Market Research and Business development activities.
- Marketing the range of products available to various requirements for Iron and steel industry.
- Introducing new technology derived be various R&D thereby supporting customers to implement & run the plant in better and effective way.
- Understanding the enquiry documents and submission of technical and price offers to respective clients in India and worldwide.
- Preparation of preliminary engineering drawings and other calculations.
- Preparation or estimates by arranging the information from various sources both internal and external.
- Attending meetings with customer, consultant and other consortium partners and finalizing the Technical offer i.e. Plant layout, Scope of work, Time schedule, Guarantee parameters etc.
- Attending various export's worldwide for identifying the new advance Technologies.
- Worldwide vendor's development for most cost competitive solutions.
- Negotiating and finalizing the Commercial offer and Terms conditions.
- Negotiating and finalizing the Price offers with client.
- Technical project management that includes management of projects consisting of Engineering, supply, erection, commissioning, contract closure and handing over the plant to the customer.
- Commercial project management that includes on schedule receipt of payment as per agreed contract terms and conditions with customer, on time submission of bills etc.
- Complete the project within allocated budget and proposed time schedule
