Head - Project Management - CPP

- Assist and facilitate execution of programs and projects by working with different Business Project Teams & Project Sponsoring Units / Group companies / Divisions.

- Assist and facilitate Group Companies to ensure that projects are completed within approve time lines & budgets, with stated quality & safety standards; by providing strategic inputs to Projects undertaken by businesses at all stages of the project including conceptualization, design / engineering, implementation etc.

- Regularly sourcing project cost data, develop data bank for common & different type of projects of Group companies and assist in project cost verification / benchmarking in approval procedure of new project proposals.

- Regular monitoring and reporting on project physical & financial progress for different phase of project and suggest appropriate actions like strategy for recovery of delayed activities.

- Understands and assures quality standards are met on all projects and assist in to standardize Quality Assurance Plan for equipments, bulk items and for ensuring quality of construction

- Identify resource requirements & required skill sets for the core team by standardizing (project cost based) Project Management and Construction Management organization structure for various types of projects undertaken by businesses

- Proven track record of managing projects in continuous project industry like Metals, Cement, VSF, Fertilizers, Petro-Chemicals, Chemicals, Petroleum refinery, Power Plant etc

Experience in Conceptualisation, formulation, evaluation of large projects / Power Plants followed for Project Management system with adequate understanding of Project Benchmarking for Schedule and cost, Project Implementation plan, Risk identification and Mitigation Plan, and EHS management Plan.

- Knowledge of project management tools, best practices and processes strong understanding of methodologies and theory.

- Experience of owner Project Organization will be an added advantage.

Education:

B.E/ B. Tech degree in Electrical / Mechanical engineering Mandatory

Experience - minimum of 15 years of experience out of which 5-6 years in managerial position of Project Management.
