Head - Production & Quality Control - Beauty & Personal Care Products/Soap

Our client is a leading beauty and personal care products manufacturing company based in Dubai. This opening is for their soap-manufacturing unit.

Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating production activities while ensuring products meet established quality standards. This role involves managing production schedules, supervising production staff, implementing quality control measures, and continuously improving processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

- Develop and implement production plans to meet production targets and timelines.

- Ensure smooth operations, timely delivery, and adherence to production schedules.

- Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations within the production area.

- Maintain documentation related to production including RM requirement, yield report andother related parameters.

Quality Control:

- Establish and enforce quality control standards and procedures to ensure products meet defined specifications and quality standards.

- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes and products to identify defects or deviations.

- Address quality issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.

- Maintain documentation related to quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and quality records.

Team Management & Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and supervise production and quality control teams, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the production and quality control departments.

- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs to enhance team capabilities.

Inventory Management:

- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure availability

- for production activities.

- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels, minimize wastage, and reduce costs.

Collaboration & Communication:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, procurement, and logistics, to ensure alignment of production and quality control activities with organizational goals and objectives.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, regarding production status, quality issues, and performance metrics.

Desired candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

- Minimum of [5 years] of experience in production management and quality control roles in Soap manufacturing, with a proven track record of success.

- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control methodologies, and industry best practices in Soap Production.

- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions.

- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving production targets and quality objectives.
