Head - Production (VP Level)

This is a VP level position reports into the CEO of the company.

Excellent knowledge of TAMIL and HINDI is a must.

Must:

- Should have handled Multi-Plant locations in a very High-Tech environment

- Should have handled IR related issues, labour unions, People management, New Projects and Project mgt, SupplyChain mgt, Logistics mgt, Shop Floor mgt, Metrics, Cost Management, etc.

- Should thrive in timebound production schedules.

- Should be a good negotiator and should have the bandwidth to negotiate with importers of raw materials etc., for buying plant & Machinery, equipments, etc.,

Experience: 20 - 26 years strictly

Education - BE / MBA from Good Institutes

Team Handling experience - close to 1000

Ideal Candidates:

- Candidates with experience in Manufacturing products that have to reach the consumers in a very short time will be preferred.(Newspapers / Magazines / FMCG / Power Intensive / Very Critical Process ).

- Especially Highly Perishable products

- Should have handled Breakdown, Critical Situations, International Vendor Negotiation

- Instrumental in setting-up New Plant / handled Green-Field projects

This role requires Ad-Hoc Travelling..and 24/7 alert (Only at times)

- Process improvement techniques like Six Sigma/KAIZEN etc will be preferred.

- Should have good project management experience.

- Should have excellent knowledge of controlling costs.
