Purpose: The client is looking for Head of Product & Technology leader to deliver an unparalleled customer and user experience. The leader will work with all major functions Product, Engineering, Design, People Science, AI & Data, Customer Success, Marketing and Sales to lead teams that develop scalable global solutions that deliver world class business value to our customers. You shall be required to take care of all the high level strategy as well as the business as usual items. As Head of Product & Technology leader , you shall be a part of cross functional team and wear different hats as per the requirement. Responsibilities: - Identify, analyze and implement breakthrough innovations in product development. Ideate and define product vision and strategy. - Conceptualize new products using data driven approach. Prioritize initiatives for product development and drive them end to end. - Understand customer requirement by carrying out user research, assessing the markets conditions, evaluating competitive landscape, and positioning the product line to appeal to the user. - Scope and prioritize activities based on business requirement and customer impact - Build and constantly improve the product through data analysis, experience and feedback from consumers so as to improve conversion, user engagement and deliver improved results for the business. - Define acceptance criteria and critical metrics that define success of a product solution, and continue to monitor throughout the product's lifecycle. - Constantly analyze product performance post launch and iterate on the same to keep improving the product experience. - Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships and external relationships - Identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs. - Create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence . - Developing Technology Architecture that improves key website parameters and is robust for further scale-up. - Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metric. - Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture. - Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape - Work in a consultative fashion with other department heads, such as marketing, production and operations as an advisor of technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness and to define and deliver new products and enhancements . - Developing Technology Architecture that improves key website parameters and is robust for further scale-up. - Designing and implementing a product note for automating information flow across various departments. - Design and implement changes to the website to improve the overall UI/UX and website conversions. - Integrating APIs with key business service provides to aid seamless flow of information across all channels. - Work with the CEO & Other CXOs to arrive at next steps & experiments. This will include leading discussions, engaging in debate, driving an opinionated group to reach a conclusion. Requirements - Ability to multi task and meet deadlines under pressure. - API first approach in conceptualizing products. - Attention to detail and the tenacity to make sure quality standards are high. - Ability to work with other disciplines to help make barriers disappear. - Adept at understanding multiple use cases and writing complex user stories and workflows. - A knack for understanding customer needs and translating them into amazing products - Creative, resourceful, detail oriented, highly organized and meticulous can easily find the edge cases when developing business requirements. - User empathy solving problems of customers, while earning profit. Qualification and Experience - An engineering graduate from a premier college. - Minimum: 8-10 years' experience leading product and technology teams. - You should be able to demonstrate a product you've helped ship over this time, explain how and why it did or did not succeed. - Tech expertise in Ruby on Rails, Python, Node Js, React JS, MySQL, Cloud Platform, Integration. - Skills: IOS, MYSQL, Jquery, , HTML, cloud platform. - Experience with e-commerce app-based products will be a bonus as well. - Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle - Deeply focused on the user and their problems. - Communication: Be an articulate and persuasive communicator, as both a writer and a speaker, who uses data to support your arguments. - Leadership: Thought leadership and influence without relying on hierarchy. - Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job. - Ability to actively communicate, inspire and motivate all levels of staff. - Self-starter and ability to work in unstructured environments. - Multitasking ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment under pressure. - Strong written and presentation skills.
