Head - Product - Social Commerce Startup - IIT/IIM/NIT/BITS

Responsibilities

- Manage the product end-to-end across platforms

- Understand user pain points and needs by conducting primary research as well as looking at the data

- Drive product development from small features to entirely new products with a team of world-class engineers and designers

- Drive the overall product and feature roadmap, and manage prioritization and trade-offs against user experience

- Write business/product requirements documents and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business, design and development teams

- Establish business metrics and indicators for success

- Monitor and measure launched products and feed learnings back into product development process

- Along with analytics, spend time with users and conduct user research to understand product gaps and make improvement

- Excellent analytical skills: Ability to break down and solve complex problems

- Sharp Communication: Ability to articulate the problem and proposed solution clearly and succinctly

- Take complete ownership and drive issues end-to-end independently

- Deep understanding of how consumer tech products are built and evolve

- Pro-activeness in developing understanding of various applications of technology

- Willingness to get hands dirty and not afraid of going out in the real world

- Strong attention to detail

- Strong understanding of small businesses & consumers

Work Experience : 

- 5 -8 years of experience in a Product role, preferably with building e-commerce products

Qualifications : 

- Graduate from Tier 1 Institutes

- A degree in computer science / experience in software development would be preferred
