1. Responsible for all the technology activities at the plant
2. Product performance
3. Strategic planning
4. Product quality improvement
5. Developmental activities
6. Coordination with Manufacturing
7. Systems implementation, monitoring and control
8. Process up-gradation
9. RM development
10. Contribution to Product improvement
11. Process efficiency improvement
12. Selection of Special Characteristics.
13. Setting QEHS objectives.
14. Timing requirement for Design, Pilot batch and Production clearance.
15. Requirements on corrective and preventive actions.
16. Product testing and validation requirements.
17. Customer & Quality System Requirements.
18. Responsible for claims and customer complaints.
Qualification & Experience :
- M.Tech / B.Tech with more than 20 Years in tire industries ( OHT & ROTR) and Responsible for taking necessary corrective actions for reducing the tire failure
- Responsible to maintain and initiate appropriate cost control measures by optimizing the component dimensions, Developmental activities
- Timing requirement for Design
- Pilot batch and Production clearance
- Responsible to review all the process study report from tire engineering for Suitability of implementation during the manufacture & life cycle of the product
- Responsible for initiating appropriate ongoing process control measures
- Responsible for lab activities and product testing (concerned managers), CFT activities for Product / Process improvements & reducing tire scrap/defects
- Process up-gradation activities
- Providing awareness on product / process / EHS / customer requirements to the technology team.
