Job Description :
Position : This is a senior level position that drives product management and product marketing of all products.
Requirements :
- Overall experience of 15 years and above in Enterprise software products and solutions offerings in the role of Product Management / Product Marketing / Pre-Sales / Solution Architecture.
- Understands application of technology - past and current, to solve Enterprise scale problems.
- Desirable experience in ECM / BPM / Case Management software for Enterprises.
- Desirable Experience in one or more of Enterprise Mobility, Analytics and Cloud.
- Must have a track record to represent organization in forums such as Customer Meets and Industry Associations
- Ability to analyze market trends related to B2B, IT Industry and Software Products by tapping into Customers, Analysts and cyber space.
- Ability to position products favorably to internal sales / pre-sales, customers, and analysts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with engineering team, pre-sales team, and analysts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with ability to build and lead teams to research, learn, and adapt to changing business needs.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Analyst Engagement :
- Managing relationship with Key Analysts firms such as Gartner, Forrester etc.
- Responsible for maintaining and bettering on positioning in Analyst Reports - currently 4 Magic Quadrant reports and 4 Wave reports amongst others.
- Engage Analysts in a positive dialog regarding updates related to Company, Product, Roadmap, Wins, etc.
- Engage Analysts for Strategic Advisory Sessions, Briefings and Inquiries both to seek information and to influence them
Product Management :
- Benchmarks product with competitive offerings, tracks trends which will influence product
- Conducts research and analysis to get information and feedback from customers
- Determines product positioning and messaging for multiple geographies
- Coordinate product requirement pipeline, ensure prioritization and briefs engineering team on the same
- Prioritizes and plans releases in collaboration with engineering
- Participates in engineering cycle to review specifications, UX, UI, Build & Testing to confirm it is in accordance with requirement
- Publishes product vision and roadmap
- Tracks product adoption
- Establishing thought leadership by innovative application of our technology, establishing competitive advantage, and active contribution in social media through blogs, webinars, and white papers
Sales Enablement & Product Marketing :
- Communicates the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of products
- Create content, case studies and marketing collateral to support pre-sales and sales teams for evangelization to Industry Analysts and CIOs. Drive proof of concept and demo development
- Advises Sales and Pre-Sales on specific portions of RFIs and RFP
Market & Competitive intelligence : Understands buyers and buying criteria; Understands competition and how to create differentiation, prepares battle cards and product comparison sheets to facilitate sales and pre-sales
- Determines suitable demo scenarios to be demonstrated to analysts or customers
