Position: Product Manager / Senior Product Manager - Product Engineering

Work Location: Bangalore

Roles and responsibilities

- Responsible for IT Product Development, Design and Solutioning (Product Engineering)

- Work closely with cross functional managers and Technical & Domain experts (Claims & Underwriting Teams)

- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.

- Manages project budget

- Understands basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly.

- Implementing quality control and assurance practices to be followed by the project team

- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Good listening skills, and ability to adjust your communication style to your audience

- Excellent communication skills, including presentations and high-quality documentation.

- Accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching employees; communicating job expectations

Experience and Qualification Required

- Bachelor/Master's degree with 15 - 17 years of Experience in IT Product Engineering

- Direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.

- Should have handled at least 3-4 large / medium scale projects from end to end in PM roles
