Description - Exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional in Product Development within Financial Services to work with a leading Investment Research & Management Firm in a leadership position.

Our client is a US headquartered Investment Research & Management firm. They are present in over 25 countries with close to 5000 employees. The centre in India supports India & Global operations in research & technology. The Technology Group owns Product Development for software products & services catering to institutions, advisors, and individuals and provide solutions & system to manage the companies global investment database.
Job Description
Reporting to the MD in India and CTO Globally, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Leading development and engineering excellence across the entire technology team based at our Mumbai center.
- Overseeing day-to-day operations with around 100 developers across several product development and data management teams.
- Driving growth of product and services excellence and operational productivity.
Profile
- Self-starter with 15-20 years of experience working in software development. Experience in Financial Services industry is a plus.
- Development experience with .Net (C# or VB), C++ and Java is preferred along with experience with both Agile & Waterfall development life-cycles.
- Working to advanced knowledge of relational databases and NoSQL techniques and trends.
- Experience in managing large teams and stakeholders within an onshore / offshore model where teams have matrix responsibilities.
- This role requires a technical thinker with deep management, excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience with an overseas company is highly preferred.
