- This is P&amp;L role overseeing the management of the company's food development lab. Scope of the lab is from innovation to execution. - To develop innovative food products and facilitate the same for various entities in food park and beyond. - Builds business relations externally to jointly develop new recipes. - Collaborates closely with suppliers/COEs / Plants effort to develop processed food. Oversees the recipe master, ideal food cost recipe master, cooking procedures and nutritionals. This position also manages internal and external product ideations and facilitates a number of product approval meetings with senior leadership and ensures successful execution. Key Deliverables - - Product development and manufacture/delivery - Manages the product development process including: - Evaluating new samples from suppliers for potential product presentations - Provides feedback to supplier partners on samples submitted - Oversees the development of presentations and agendas for internal tastings - Conducts internal taste panels as first check for product acceptance - Trains Ops and Training Department on new product launches and LTOs - Manages product development projects, ensures the appropriate budget is set and ensures adherence to the deliverables and timelines. - Presents recommendations and ideas to Senior Leadership Team - Oversees inventory and management of Test Kitchen including test kitchen staff, maintenance, and inventory replenishment. - Manages the nutritionals for all restaurant and retail products including artwork, labeling, website, and calorie postings. - Updates and maintains recipe master for Ideal Food Cost. - Prepares various monthly, quarterly and annual budgets - As part of top level management, responsible for planning and developing strategy for Company's research activities
