Head - Procurement - Stores & Spares - Packaging Material (10-15 yrs)
The position is for one of the Spinning Groups of Nepal.
Overall responsibility for Purchasing and Cost Estimating activities across the business. Ensure that purchasing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets
- Initiate and develop creative and innovative procurement processes (eProcurement)
- Vendor Negotiation and Finalisation,
- Enquiry and offer price negotiation,
- RFQ and CSQ preparation and finalisation,
- Inventory analysis,
- Focus on OTIF on delivery,
- RFT of spares, Annual Rate Contract, AMC's Finalisation, Monthly consumption analysis
- Routine and Annual discount on consumables
- Handling Centralised Stores - Material Management, Scrap Management, Inventory Control and Management
- Adhere 6S and FIFO, GIN, MIN, MIRO, BIN Management, RGP process
- Scrap customer Finalisation
- Rate negotiation
Skills and Attributes:
- Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers
- Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
- Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
- Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets
