Head - Procurement - Skincare/Wellness & Pharma - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

Please note - Only candidates with experience of direct and indirect procurement in skincare,luxury wellness and pharma will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for procurement of all direct and Indirect material of ~50 crores spend per year.

- Prepares annual budget and responsible for meeting cost saving targets for the year.

- Fully responsible for development of all types of packaging (molds, label development etc) and RM sourcing for NPD / Transition plans

- Controls 3rd party spend focusing on optimization, while maintaining the required service levels and quality standards

- Ensure adherence to the procurement policy; develop internal SOP's for processes and ensure its compliance

- Continuous improvement of procurement processes and practices incorporating relevant best practices and associated ERP changes

- Owns supplier management process, including qualification, strategic status, supplier development to ensure a supply base capable of providing quality and timely delivery

- Owns and publishes procurement MIS. Track & report key KPIs : savings, improvement in payment terms, supplier base optimization, spend under contract, On-time delivery, PR-PO cycle time etc.

- Support business leads on procurement related matters for new product development

- Ensures timely execution of P2P processes. Manage risk relating to quality, cost, delivery and supply of purchases

- Ensures compliance with relevant legal obligations relating to the goods, services or works to be purchased, e.g. environmental/health and safety legislation

- Identifies skill gaps in the team basis organization strategy. Works with the HR to make staffing and hiring decisions

Qualifications :

- Post-graduate degree in Supply Chain (Tier 1 College)

- 7-15 years' experience in a Procurement role managing direct and indirect sourcing.

- Excellent understanding of strategic sourcing practices and brings in strong supplier market understanding

- Experience in building and managing digital procurement (e-rfx, e-auction, catalog management) would be preferable

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
