Contractual for 6 - Months The purpose of this role is to manage and optimize demand (ATL &amp; TTL; all costs except manpower cost &amp; BTL), indirect spends and compressible cost base at company. The objective of the role is to ensure efficient S&amp;OP process operations and deliver optimum OTIF (on time in full), inventory levels and minimum cost by enhancing the warehousing and logistics network AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY 1. Review Supplies and Inventory Availability - Review and Streamline category supplies - Oversee the inventory/stock availability for key packaging material and ENA - Analyse structured feedback received from key internal customers/ stakeholders w.r.t the inventory and OTIF Requirements - Ensure and control optimal delivery of the internal customer requirements - Overlook the revenue attainment, inventory management &amp; cost containment strategies - Budget and develop manufacturing and distribution strategy 2. Implement Saving initiatives - Evaluate the savings possibility areas and recommend savings strategy plan for the entire organization - Identify possible areas of cost reduction and resources adequacy - Create a savings pipeline in packing materials through BVE program - Create a savings pipeline in blending material through BLIMP program 3. People - Take overall responsibility for identification of training needs for department personnel and follow-up for induction/ training delivery through corporate HR - Drive a performance driven culture in the team by timely monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to the team members - Contribute towards development of talent for the department by providing subordinates with adequate exposure and growth opportunities to enable readiness for higher roles - Ensure periodic follow-up with the recruitment team to fill the vacant positions within stipulated time; in case of deviations escalate it to appropriate authority Qualification: MBA Experience: - 10+ Years in consumer goods sector - Prior branding experience preferred Knowledge &amp; skills: - Leadership skills and management Acumen - Sound analytical skills - Integrity and personal congruence - Change management and stakeholder management - Strong communication &amp; negotiation skills Best Suited for someone who - Is versatile to understand multiple categories (since the person will manage Indirect) - Is great at influencing, engaging and advising various stakeholders across the business - Likes to take on a leadership role, build a culture of high performance and nurture talent - Is Hardnosed when it comes to commercial negotiations with parties - Is extremely analytical in ones approach to work, is able to turn raw data into business insights and intelligence - Has a good sense of aesthetics with respect to marketing communication - Brings an external focus to work, by being constantly updated on developments and innovations in the external world
