Head - Procurement - Clinics/Hospital

Currently working on a Head Of Procurement position for a Chain of clinics/ hospitals to be based in Bangalore.

Job Description: Head Procurement

- Hands on experience in Procurement of Medical, Infrastructural, General & Capital Equipment's, Consumables, Lab & Pharmacy

- Carry-out negotiations with multiple vendors for the procurement of materials

- Evaluate and finalize reliable and cost-effective vendors for procurement of materials

- Manage vendor relationships and end users

- Resolve any vendor grievances and ensure timely payment to the vendors by collaborating with Finance department

- Empanel vendors and negotiate rate contacts at PAN India level of Implants, Consumables & other materials and standardize the process of purchasing at center/regional levels

- Supervise managers for material management in all the centers for center level procurement and inventory management

- Procure capital equipment's from the finalized vendor for all the centers in a timely manner

- Support Projects team for operationalizing new centers within target timelines

- Study industry norms and prices for targeting the best deal at all times and accordingly revise the existing contacts periodically

Qualification/Experience:

- PG/MBA - 10 year plus experience in Materials - with atleast 5 years preferably in Hospital/medical equipment's industry.
