Client Details

A 100 years old, the company is a market leader in home furnishings and has a wide global presence across 60 countries. Headquartered in Europe, the company offers state of the art products and has managed to grow by double digits year on year along with having multiple brands catering to various customer segments each of them designed exclusively for each country. The current role required is for the Head of Procurement profile which will be based out of the Gurgaon Head office

Description

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the main responsibilities will include:

- Managing the direct procurement for all the raw and finished goods material

- Ensuring proper contract maintenance between the suppliers and the company

- Developing and maintaining vendor relationships across different geographies

- Device and use fruitful sourcing strategies to ensure yearly cost saving

- Work closely with the India head to drivel overall procurement strategy

Profile

You will have

- A minimum of 15 years experience post you the masters degree

- Knowledge and expertise in direct procurement

- Prior experience in one of paints/building materials/sanitaryware/construction equipment industry is a must

- Good negotiation skills

- Working relationship with various suppliers and vendors across the country
