Plant IR Head for MNC for Himachal Pradesh
- Leads HR for individual Plant
- Understand the plant business plan in the current and foreseen future, its position in the organization lifecycle, and talent implications of the same; Examine the local labor environment and existing HR practices, study applicable statutory and labor laws
- Prepare plant HR strategy, encompassing talent acquisition, talent development, performance management, total rewards, employee welfare, employee relations, and compliance; Draft and implement plant specific labor strategy
- Prepare containment plans in case of any issues arising within the plant for quick resolution such as employee grievance redressal process, and system to investigate all work-related harassment complaints, and ensure that issues on a timely and impartial manner with fair chance given to all parties to present their cases; Identify critical power centers within the plant, in case it is not unionized, and prepare engagement plans with the same
- Prepare engagement plan and provide inputs for preparation of wage negotiation strategy after evaluating the union's collective bargaining power, political affiliations, etc. for plants with an already established union; Participate in negotiate labor agreements including wage negotiations and ensure harmonious relations between management and labour unions so as not to minimize disruptions in plant operations
