Combining domain expertise, world class manufacturing set up & industry experts with the passion to manufacture class apart consumer products, the company has grown 1500+ strong employee base of passionate individuals with 600+ at the green field plant. The organization is now exhibiting strong national growth and to meet the growing development needs, is looking to hire a Head HR/IR for their greenfield unit in Andhra Pradesh
Description
Reporting into the Plant Head and CHRO with a team of 8 direct reports, you will be responsible for:
- Understanding the company's business, products, and overall objectives; and link the same with the HR activities at the Plant
- Successfully create and implement end to end HR activities across Employee Lifecycle at the Plant of 600+ employees that is looking to grow to 1200 as a total headcount in 1.5 years
- Handle all HR policies related to employee competencies and career progression, processes such as On-boarding, Performance Management, Business travel and expense management, employee grievances resolution within manufacturing teams
- Should have a robust knowledge of statutory compliance like Labor Laws, Factory Act, minimum wage negotiations, union-related issues etc.
- Should ensure talent development (inclusive of on role/off role employees) in manufacturing plant to execute HR strategy and achieve desired business results
- Understand the nuances and expectations of workers at the Plant and be a trusted advisor for the employees, managers, and HR by adhering to confidentiality and integrity at all times
- Be accountable for metrics such as Joining, On-boarding, Performance, Attrition, Process Compliance, Collaboration, and similar metrics
- Create, implement and monitor processes and policies by working with relevant stakeholders - employees, managers, internal HR partners
- Be the Cultural ambassador for the teams at the Plant, and support in culture fit interviews during talent acquisition as well
- Should work towards Talent Development with senior stakeholders and business heads for effective training and development needs
- Should efficiently liaise with the local authorities and administration officials to represent the organization on statutory obligations as and when required
- Should efficiently manage IR associated compliance by effective liaisoning and periodic audits
Profile
- 15-20 years of total experience in Plant HR/IR Business Partnering for a multinational manufacturing organization
- Candidates with multinational experience will be considered only
- Candidates must come from a consumer manufacturing organization only
- MBA (HR) from a Premier Business school (XISS/TISS/MDI/SCMHRD/XLRI/MHROD/IMT/FORE/IMI/LBSIM) is MANDATORY Robust knowledge of all HR policies and statutory compliances are mandatory
- Managed a manufacturing plant with least 800 Off/On role employees as an HR/IR Business Partner
- Must be fluent in Telugu/Kannada OR both
- Excellent Communication & Stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset and expertise in excel and similar tools
